The Oak Inn - Powys

We had a brilliant meal here .. so delicious . great for veggies and beautiful staff. felt w happy to have in walking distance .. great work everyone in the oak!

After a long day around wales we drove here in the evening with friends to dinner managed to fit us into the eating was good, but one thing spoiled it... the woman had blown her slices a bit and was lucky to not lose a tooth or worse. there was in there a piece of cinnamon stick / wood what if a child had tried to swallow this, this is and on it, this? I've never seen any curry that my wife has eaten. so they pamper it for them immediately and since they had nothing else there would be no alternative ... so they only eat their bread eating the food for the rest of the group was good, just how I dangerous articles that spoil it

Visiting an Indian as a coeliac is always risky but the staff at the Spice Lounge were amazing. They guided us through the meal and made sure everything we had was gluten free. The food tasted amazing and was cooked to perfection

Definitely a hidden gem, we enjoyed a very good curry, one of our dishes was tailored for us, so that was good. The restaurant manageress is very welcoming and helpful, will be going back for more!

Excellent service nothing was too much trouble. Food was tasty reasonably priced. Walking distance from where we were staying was a bonus! Definitely return if in the area in the future.
