I could not put this at the top of my list of favorites, but it was definitiw decent. the risotto was particularly delicious.
We landed here with friends, hoping to eat a burger. it turned out that the dinner menu was not yet open and they had actually stopped cooking the afternoon menu before an hour. So we were in the middle of a change and the kitchen was closed. After asking the staff if there were other vegan restaurants nearby, the women said they should wait a moment. When she came back, she said they would cook us something amazing! we had no burger, but what we had from the vegan brunch was very nice.
I love this place. I love the interior and it has a cool and relaxed atmosphere. You can get a great vegan meal late at night which was essential for us on our first night as our plane was delayed. There wasn’t any evidence of anything not veggie on the menu at the time of our visit in Sept 2019 but the waitress serving us suggested they sometimes sell fish????
I have strong affections for this place, it was probably the first vegetarian restaurant that I ever visited in my life back in 2002 and have returned since then a number of times. Relaxed restaurant at the front which closes at about midnight, then food is served in the lounge at the back until at least 2 or 3am. Great vegan choice, cheap cocktails and fine beers. This place is a Prague establishment with a nightclub downstairs but the food is what I come here for. Unfortunately, it does now serve some fish so I skipped a visit here whilst in Prague in June 2013. Instead, I opted to go to the very good Loving Hut on Londynská which is parallel with Belehradská on which Radost is located. Still, great memories of Radost and worth a visit because they still do very good vegan food albeit prepared in a kitchen that may have meat in it. This needs to be fully confirmed as some recent reviews suggest it’s fully vegetarian again.
