505 Cellar - Prahran

The food was excellent. The $20 fish and chips on Friday night were unbeatable. They also had a good variety of beer on tap. However, we were disappointed when they charged us $55 for the bottle of wine shown in the photo, which is normally sold for $8.99 and did not taste very good. If you decide to dine here, steer clear of the wine as it has a significant markup.

The Negroni at this restaurant was exceptional, surpassing most cocktail bars. It was made with Four Pillars Spiced Negroni gin and served with a large ice cube. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, the barramundi was delicious, and the salads were not only visually appealing but also delicious. Be sure to inquire about the specials when you visit.

Beautiful food. Nice ambience. However was spoilt by music being played way too loud. Group of 6 found it very hard to hear and had to yell to be heard.

This restaurant has the best happy hour in town! I especially love their steaks and shoestring fries. The place is clean and the staff is friendly.

Great local hangout in Hawksburn. Low key and relaxed. Good and friendly service. Daily Happy Hour 6-7 with $5 house wine (sav blanc and Shiraz are great). Wednesday night steaks 300 gram porterhouse $25. Great food and a great deal. Good food. Higher recommended.
