Wyttenbach Meats - PRAIRIE DU SAC

The steaks, bacon, and sausage here are outstanding. The thick-cut bacon is especially phenomenal. You won't be able to resist finishing a whole stick of their homemade pepperoni in one sitting!

I visited Wyttenbach Meats for the first time today because I prefer to buy meat from local butchers. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to find that I was the only one wearing a mask—none of the four employees or any of the customers had masks on. Additionally, I noticed signs stating “we stand with the cross and kneel for their flag,” and there were several thin blue line flags displayed. It was clear that the establishment has made its political stance very apparent, which made me feel unwelcome. No matter how good their meats may be, I won’t be returning here to shop again.
