Mary Lee Donuts - Prairieville

The donut holes and glazed donuts here are excellent. The owner is very friendly and goes out of their way to accommodate my requests. I enjoyed the kolaches, though I would have preferred more cheese or jalapeños inside instead of just the sausage filling for the jalapeño and cheese variety.

I used to love the donuts at this place and would buy a dozen every Sunday morning for my family. However, I won't be returning anymore. I recently checked my last two receipts and noticed that I was charged a non-cash transaction fee without being informed or asked beforehand. It's not just about the fee itself; it's about feeling misled. Why not let customers know that using a credit card incurs an additional charge? That's a cost of running a business, not something I should have to cover on top of the regular prices for your food.

We go to Mary Lee’s Donuts (the location on Airline near Hwy 42 in Prairieville) every week, and we've always been satisfied.

The doughnuts are delicious, but don't expect to find anything other than glazed ones after 9 AM.

All of their donuts are incredible, but be sure to arrive early to snag the absolute best: the Blueberry Cake Donut! They tend to sell out quickly, so don't miss your chance to try it.
