I saw a young waitress crying while a lady of a great age (of course the owner) who was unjustly scaring on her. The old lady didn't let us eat quietly. The scene shocked me. Besides, I see to my surprise a dog in the kitchen?! Rooms: 1
We were promised gourmet food and we got catastrophic food... Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1
A family hotel with an authentic mountain atmosphere. A caring team behind the stoves, in the reception room and at reception ensures a pleasant and relaxing stay. Comfortable and spacious rooms, well-maintained common areas, a relaxation area and two swimming pools are all assets that will make your stay a success! 5 stars! Rooms: Clean and comfortable, it is possible to connect certain rooms which can be practical (doors between rooms). Nearby activities: Vanoise Park nearby, everything is possible! Hiking, trekking, trail running in summer. In winter cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ski touring, alpine skiing... Safety: Very good, impossible to enter the hotel without a pass after a certain time. The rest of the time, reception is always assured. Food drinks: Delicious! Dominique Briquet provides slightly revisited gourmet cuisine. A strong point!
A fabulous restaurant From the moment I walked through the doors of this hidden gem, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, establishing an exquisite dining experience. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who attended to every need without being intrusive. The menu offered an impressive array of dishes, each a masterpiece in its own right. Each bite was a celebration of flavors, crafted with fresh ingredients and a mastery of culinary finesse. From mouth-watering appetizers to decadent desserts, each dish left me wanting more.
More than a hotel, it is a very warm place to live, where the owners take the time to get to know you and take care of you. The home cooking is very refined and it’s always a pleasure to eat there at the end of the day. In summer as in winter, Grand Bec is a rare place to recharge your batteries away from the hustle and bustle of other resorts.
