Uncle Bud's Place - Prescott

Wow! The flavors here are incredible! I ordered the quarter muffuletta, but the picture only shows half of it! The cold cuts and olive salad were absolutely fantastic. My wife had the Cajun smoked chuck roast Po'boy, which was delicious and packed with flavor. Uncle Bud's has become our new favorite spot in Prescott. I can't wait to try more dishes, but I'm worried I might be too hooked on the muffuletta!

Delicious meals and meat here! We enjoyed the Bud?s Big Bbq platter with pulled pork, 1/4 rack, and chicken breast with smoked mashed potatoes and cole slaw. Everything was great and the atmosphere of the dining was cool with neat photos and memorabilia.

I had my first visit to this restaurant, and the staff were incredibly friendly! The highlight for me was definitely the sausage—it was fantastic (we opted for the mild to play it safe). In the future, I might ask to skip the traditional barbecue sauce, as I would prefer to try the pulled pork with their mustard vinegar sauce instead. The mac and cheese didn’t blow me away, but I didn’t dislike it either; it just didn’t make my top ten. The rice and gravy was extremely flavorful and quite salty, though I suppose that's how it’s meant to be. I enjoyed it, but my friend didn’t. The cornbread had sugar on it, which was a first for me. I thought it could have been a bit moister, but everyone has their own take on cornbread. Overall, it’s a great little spot, and I’ll probably return, especially because the staff were so sweet. On a side note, their lemonade was just as good as Chick-fil-A's, which I really loved!

We've been in the Prescott area for about three weeks, and Uncle Bud's has been the best food we've experienced so far. Although the restaurant is small, the flavors are anything but. I ordered a Bud's Bowl, which features a base of smoked smashed potatoes paired with your choice of meat. I opted for the smoked chuck roast and spicy Cajun sausage. You also get to choose a topping, which can be cheese sauce, gravy, or one other option. It’s then garnished with bacon, chives, and shredded cheese. It was absolutely incredible! My wife had the smoked meatloaf, which was also fantastic. We concluded our meal with their bread pudding, which you can have with either a vanilla or bourbon sauce. We both preferred the bourbon sauce. The service was attentive and friendly. There's ample parking, but keep in mind that it might not be the best venue for large groups; however, they do offer takeout!

I didn't go there for BBQ but I had to try the BBQ potroast. It's possibly the best I've ever had. The coleslaw and smoked mashed potatoes, and red bezns and ruce are the best I've ever had of any of those for sure. Spicy smoked sausage was amazing! The ribs tasted wonderful but I do like mine yo fall apart a little more. I just wish I lived near by!
