Just love this place and am a regular visitor. There are lots of offers on the app now so well worth downloading. Not every where gives you a free meal! Basically I would miss the carvery if it was not available.

Menu was not clear or specific and the interior is all damaged, there were rips in the seats, a stain on the pool table and no straws for drinks. They also had an offer for two courses but barely any option on the courses and didn’t specify it has to be a starter and main or a main and desert, the food arrive either very fast or very late and was very overpriced, definitely not worth the money, my friend ordered a burger and the salad was a single piece of lettuce. staff were nice though not returning again

Had trouble booking the Pig and Whistle as it was fully booked on Boxing Day but the manager managed to fit me in which I was very grateful for. The staff were wonderful especially David and Scarlett. I visit here on a regular basis as I find I can relax here with no bother.

Booked hoping to enjoy the Christmas Carvery. Arrived to find no mention anywhere in the pub of Christmas Carvery, no special set menu of Xmas Fayre. We ordered regular food from the everyday menu, which as pretty standard for this type of pub bland served cold. There was mess everywhere from previous customers and tables were not clean.

First time I’ve been here for a long time, and I was impressed. My wife and I went for a traditional carvery with a couple of pints of Wainwrights. The food was excellent and very well priced. Although the place was quite busy we didn’t really have to queue and all of the staff were friendly. Disabled access would be fine. All in all, a great meal, and I’m sure we will return soon Highly recommended.
