Came here with a few friends for tea yesterday. Really enjoyed it, the staff were very helpful and pleasant and the cheese and onion pie was the best I had ever eaten! My friends enjoyed the 2 pizzas for £15 and said they were lovely. After food we stayed for a few drinks and tried a selection of the Gins they have. Overall, really enjoyed our visit and will be back again soon!
Good meals for a fair price plus friendly staff, well worth a visit, enjoyed the experience very much.
Booked a table for 11 for Mothers day. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Even though they where very busy our food was served promptly and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The starters where generous sizes and so where the kids meals and the mains. We used to come here often before it closed and we will be definitely making regular visits again. Highly recommend for a good selection of good quality meals.
The reviews here say a lot. The latest one mentions that when they visited, the place was empty. I went today at 1:30 p.m., and there were about 20 tables occupied. I can honestly say it had the best pub menu I've enjoyed in a long time. I ordered the smaller mixed grill, which was reasonably priced and generously portioned. I really can't complain! I know the management has mentioned they’ve had issues with competitors posting false reviews, and it's no surprise given that. My advice? Give it a try yourself!
