The food here is top quality, and the Estrella beer is fantastic, perfectly paired with the delicious dishes. The service is friendly and knowledgeable, making it a family-friendly place to dine. The prices are reasonable for the quality offered. However, I found the bread from the nibble section a bit lacking, especially the garlic and cheese cake and the treacle mini-loaf. I also think the sourdough could benefit from a bit more presentation, but that's a minor issue. I was pleased to visit on a Monday, which happened to be Easter Monday, even though they are usually closed that day. This is the best meal we've had in Preston since our time at 263, and while the locals are well aware of this spot, I believe it is a true hidden gem. It's definitely worth the trip. I'm also curious to learn more about the chef; there's excellent potential based on what I saw in the photos. This is restaurant dining at its best, not just a gastro pub experience, and it was a lot of fun.

While the prices are slightly above average, the quality makes it worth it. We've visited several times and will definitely return. There's also a great selection of beers. The staff was wonderful and very courteous. Be sure to try the plucked goose!

Edible ambiente, helpful and pleasant staff, great eating with a good choice of vegetarian options

The food is really really good. It sounds fancy, looks fancy and costs fancy but it is genuinely good. Also a very nice outside seating area. They have turned this restaurant that has gone through many hands in the last years into a really nice place.
