Tavern 23 - Preston-Potter Hollow

Not what use to be when they first opened menu getting worst and now new chief they say the worst friends also

Excellent venue for a cocktail party. Drinks bites were perfect! Outdoor seating with a fire pit. Service was great.

Last night, our first visit, but not our last! Hard to find anywhere in Windham that serves late on a weeknight—after a grueling day of madison-bouckville antiquing, Tavern 23 was the oasis we needed! Friendly and efficient service, lovely decor, good food. We had tuna tartare (I could eat this every day—it was THAT good , grilled asparagus, shrimp cocktail (big ones! , and salad. For dessert, delights from a local baker—scrumptious. Bravo, Tavern 23!

Outstanding food and service with a great atmosphere. Everyone who works there is so nice and professional and goes above and beyond to make the dining experience one you won’t soon forget.

The food is great, the service is great, the place is ALWAYS packed. Not sure there is fix for this considering the limited surrounding space. They would have to expand the building a bit and add more staff. The last three times I have come here on a week night I have had to walk away because the place was too busy.
