Ocean Basket Reds Mall - Pretoria

Updated 18 11 2017: Really great service and their updated menu in specific the medditerasian sushi is helping this franchise to go from strenght to strenght. Will be back again and again for fresh and innovative new takes on seafood After their revamp this spot is looking amazing! The decor is fresh, modern and upmarket. Always have great service at this particular branch. Lovely that the waiter and manager recognizes us, even though we don't visit that often. Food is good too, feels like they have upped their game since the revamp. Super crunchy chips and crispy calamari (For Hubby). I opted for the trout and veggies (trying to be a tad healthier), but was not as impressed! Will try something else next time.

Our waiter Chris added to the evening being very enjoyable. We had a simple meal (calamari and some sushi), as always we had good food at this branch.

The Ocean Basket in Grey Owl Village is a cosy and friendly restaurant. Early evening is a quiet time but gradually the place filled up. My starter of fried calamari was exquisite: tender calamari tubes, lightly dusted crumbed and fried. Served with salty lemon butter sauce. Delicious! Sushi was as expected. The service by Ashley outstanding! Yanele, the manager, was kind and friendly too. A satisfying meal. Oh and the Dry White Housewine is good.

Have been to this ocean basket many times and they never dissapoint. Service is fantastic with a smile, food is always great. In the centurion area this is the best ocean basket.

As usual we were once again not disappointed yesterday when we went out for lunch to our favourite seafood place. Excellent! Good food! Good service!
