Spicy Peppercorn - Prince Albert

Spicy Peppercorn is my favorite Asian restaurant in Prince Albert. They offer excellent service and some of my favorite dishes include charbroiled chicken vermicelli, deluxe wonton soup, chicken fresh rolls, and birds nest. I always find myself coming back to Spicy Peppercorn!

My wife had been craving Chinese food for days and finally had a day to relax and order some. After waiting 45 minutes, our food arrived. The first thing we noticed was that there was no sauce for our egg rolls or chicken balls. The egg roll was overcooked with a dry crust that made it inedible. After trying a small portion of our order, we found it to be so bad that we threw it in the garbage disposal. We tore up the menu and threw the remaining food in the garbage before making a sandwich instead.

The service was friendly and the server provided helpful recommendations on what to order. Three of us decided to try the Szechuan meal and were pleasantly surprised to find that it was enough food for six people! The dishes were authentic, well-prepared, and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Don’t let the outside put you off. This is not a fancy restaurant. The food is excellent. I had chow mein with black bean sauce. The spring rolls were hand made.

Picked up my order last night to find soggy shrimp, minute rice used in the chicken fried rice, the sweet and sour sauce was soaked up by the chicken balls, vermicelli cold rolls were just that, vermicelli with a wee bit of pork and what happened to your peanut sauce, it has no taste! wow, so disappointing, won't be giving you a second chance. tired of spending on crappy food.
