Food was authentic and affordable. Drink was a little too boozy for my taste, but the service and atmosphere is excellent!

I really enjoy this Mexican restaurant that has been well established for many years. I feel it is the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Southern Maryland. That 's just my opinion. If you 're freaked out, write about it in your journal. I lived in Southern California for a nice spell, and I feel I have a good idea what authentic Mexican food is. The prices and food have not suffered from shrinkflation. . The atmosphere is very cozy, and the place has a good vibe. Takeout is great also.Vegetarian options: Just ask and be creative. Fajitas Texicano Steak,Chicken,shrimp was HORRIBLE. Had hardly any steak and what was there was cut up in VERY small peices and way overcooked almost burnt, very small portions of everything, it didn't even cover the hot plate. Also the shrimp were the smallest most overcooked shrimp I've ever had at any restaurant.The pico de gallo hardly had any tomatoes in it and was mostly onions with so flavor and that was after I had to explain to the waitress that I wanted a large pico , I couldn't believe she kept coming back and asking, almost like the cook didn't want to make it and was trying to talk us into a small it was very odd.Not a good experience at all and it used to be my go to place . Now the place in Charlotte Hall is just as bad so I'm not sure we're to go to get good Mexican food anymore. SAD people just want what they pay for...

Use to love this place however this afternoon I was given old shrimp in my La Parilla . I was actually shocked because this has never happened here. I ate around it but ultimately threw away the whole dish . I didn’t want to risk anything else being old . My daughter enjoyed her nachos supreme.
