Grama's Kitchen - Prince George

My husband, myself and son went to this restaurant for breakfast and we were extremely disappointed. My husband and I both ordered eggs Benedict and our son ordered a cheese omelet, the potatoes that came with all 3 meals were awful. they seemed to have been boiled then thrown into a pan for 30 seconds, they lacked all flavour and had no crispness what so ever. The eggs Benny was one of the worst I've ever had, the English muffin was barely toasted and the hollandaise sauce was pretty much clear, slimey and gelatinous. THE WORST PART THOUGH. our meals were served with an orange slice as a garnish. both my husband and I had chosen not to eat them, when the waitress came around to collect our plates she took both the orange slices off and literally threw them in front of us on our place mats ( splat! ) and told us to eat our oranges. I will never eat there again, I would rather eat dirt off the side of the road , I will never stay there because of this experience and I will never recommend to anyone.

Excellent food, a small little space just off the lobby. Prices were average for anywhere you go for breakfast. the only complaint is the space is too small for the loud voice that the waitress has. she is good at her job but if she is talking to anyone she may as well be talking to the whole restaurant as you can here every thing she is saying. that is why i gave it one notch down.

For those who hate the franchise type food, this is the breakfast place to go in Prince George. Great friendly staff, generous portions. Our place to go for breakfast when we visit. My omelette was fantastic, my daughters waffles were light and fluffy. Hope this helps for people sitting on the fence between a franchise breakfast or Grama's Kitchen.

Great little place for a home style lunch or breakfast.if you feel like a home made soup and sandwich this is the place.i bet i go once a week . love it.

We had a good breakfast at a good cost. The coffee and tea was good and plentiful. They were only open for breakfast and lunch when we were there.
