Prince George Golf & Curling

Had the favor to play the father-son/daughter golf tournament. I'm out of town... what a great golf course for all golfers. It is open and flat... with many challenges. Ideal for walkers and open to all levels of golf. Very friendly staff. The only drawback... was the driving range. It is regenerated so that you don't see or feel a shot on the track...but unlike that.... the course is great.

We were dissatisfied with the service and food at this restaurant. Everything seemed tired and in need of a makeover, including the facility. My husband's soup was not hot enough and had to be sent back to be reheated. His pulled pork sandwich was also not hot. I had fish and chips, but the batter was too hard on the outside and mushy inside, with too much dough compared to the amount of fish. The fries were good, though. I left a message for the food service manager to call me before writing this review, but no one returned my call. The best part of the experience was the view, overlooking the golf course and watching the golfers.

I ate here with friends. I had a salad with shrimps. It was okay. The waiting staff was very attentive. The view was beautiful.

Visit PG is a very local experience . . You know someone who comes into the right places. . This club is one of the best! LONG-Time Locals lure here all the time! My first visit was 5 years ago.... That's it! Just this week. Just like that.

The PG Golf and Curling Club is a diverse and welcoming establishment that attracts people from all walks of life. The staff in the pro shop are friendly and make you feel valued. However, the restaurant side of things falls short as prices are high and the food is average. Drink prices are also on the expensive side. This is their first year operating the restaurant, so hopefully, over time they will improve the quality and adjust their prices accordingly. I have also attended a banquet at the club and found the food selection at the buffet to be excellent, with a price of around $35 per person before tax and tip.
