Sushi 97 - Prince George

We were so pleased to see a new Sushi restaurant had opened where Sushi Hut used to be. Sushi 97 is larger and has a pleasant decor. Service is fast and friendly and the menu is extensive. We each enjoyed different Bento boxes which are accompanied by Miso Soup and another appetizer. My partner polished off all his food but I struggled and had to take some of it home with me. Our meal was accompanied by a pot of Japanese Tea. The food was very good and a real taste treat. Patrons come and go quickly due to the fast service. Take out seems to be popular and I can see why.My only minor complaint is that the service was almost too fast and I didn't have a chance to finish my appetizer before my Bento Box was served. Next time I will ask them to wait. And there will definitely be a next time. A definite recommend.

A group of 6 of us had lunch together at Sushi 97. Overall we had quite a good lunch. The service was very good and quick. The portions in the Bento boxes are quite large. They have a wide variety on the menu, but the menu is a bit hard to read. The PG Special Roll was my favorite out of what we ordered. I would go again.

4 of us came for lunch and were all impressed with the quality of our meal. Delicious. Fun presentation in the boat. I would definitely come back.

Had the sushi from here a few weeks back when a coworker brought it in for lunch and liked it a lot.So my son and I thought we'd go in for dinner and try it out. Best Sushi in PG by far! I had the Spicy tuna pizza, veggie roll and dynamite roll and my son had one of the bento boxes. It was so fresh and good. We were both extremely happy with our choices and the service was great too. Just a small resturant, quaint, clean and friendly atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable as well.

We took my son for the first time to eat sushi and he loved it there, so I can say it was good quality sushi. menu was not very easy to navigate, it had names but in some didn't have enough explanation of ingredients or how many pieces was each roll. good thing was that some of it had pictures so you could see what you are ordering for part. We asked our very friendly, shy waitress but she was not sure either and was not very familiar with menu. In total due to freshness of the food, it was a good experience because everything was delicious. We really enjoyed Japaneses tea and green tea ice cream( they only had 2 type of ice creams for desert and no other type of desert was being offered). Price was not too high and amount of the food was acceptable given we are good eaters and like our portions to be big. We decided for next time we will check the menu online and study it before going, but will go back there .
