Zaffron Cuisine - Prince George

Very slow service for myself and another table with two people. food had delicious flaovurs but it was overly priced for what you got. 17 dollars for 5 small lamb meetballs with some rice and a tablespoon of cucumber salad. i would not repeat since there are better places in town for value and service.

This food is SO tasty and so fresh! I ordered a vegan option for a take out dinner and was so impressed with the quality and taste of this Persian inspired food.

My friend and I went to this restaurant on our lunch break, specifically to partake in the "High Tea" Lunch. When we arrived there was one person waiting to order takeout and no other customers. The worker/owner? was on the phone and was very delayed in assisting us. When she finally got off the phone, we took a seat and the other fellow got his takeout order. When we ordered the High Tea platter, the server informed us that they needed to be called in advance in order to prepare it. (Nothing like that was indicated on their website.) We ended up ordering Empress Tea, water and a share platter of Persian food. We arrived at the restaurant at approximately 1:10 p.m and didn't even get our small platter of food until 1:45. Our water never did come. The food was WONDERFUL! Unfortunately the service was absolutely terrible.

Zaffron Cuisine is a small cozy restaurant in down town Prince George, it has very friendly staff, beautiful design and very nice internal decoration with a unique menu that is not being found easily anywhere else, so if you are tired of 'as usual boring safe list of foods exists in other restaurants', you need to give this place a go. the food is Persian food origin but it is NOT' Kabobs' that you can get in any other middle eastern food places. Price was affordable and it was a very clean place. I recommend Triangles for appetizer, some days in week like Fridays they offer all you can eat buffet

We drove by dozens of times but never ate here. Last weekend we walked by and saw the menu p, and it looked interesting. Well we had dinner tonite, and the food was excellent. For PG to have fresh spiced food done to perfection is amazing. This is a big city restaurant in our backyard . An absolute must .
