Sister's Coffee House - Princeton

I am 78 years old and sisters take me back in time to the Coffee House Days of the 60s and 70s. In the minute you relax, tension fades and you 're in a special place for a while. Several cozy seating areas beckon, as you choose one with a coffee table from magazines. One of Gwen's to die for hot chocolates is ordered, and served a magazine item is selected and I'm 'home', like I'm in a stuffed chair around me like a favorite old sweater. I have been in sisters for 15 20 years with friends for two hours lunch and no matter what I order (tuna or chicken salad, tomatoes basil soup, pasta salad or reuben sandwich, etc) it always tastes wonderful 'Gwen', so different from what you find in other places. The staff is friendly and efficient, and Gwen falls at your table with a radiant smile to see how you are doing. She is the owner of the company, but before you have been there three times, she will become a friend!!

They wear Green Mountain coffee and had a Brazilian strawberry on special. It was deliciously iced and with caramel banana taste shots! The bacon cheese on sourdough was divine! The service was great and I could taste the coffees before I met my selection! The atmosphere was cozy and peaceful. A charming experience!

Food and service is always excellent. I highly recommend it.

My first visit to this charming place yesterday. Great food, atmosphere and hospitality of Gwen is incomparable! Had such a great time to bring the guided painting party to their place, and we are on the books for 25 and 22 March to do it again We loved all the experience with people from Princeton

Been here twice now and will definitely keep coming back. And the meatloaf is the best I have ever had! Tomato basil soup was delicious! Best little place in Princeton!
