Kauai Ono - Princeville

A gem on the island of Kauai! My family discovered Justin and his team at Kauai Ono during our visit in 2018 and we have made sure to eat a meal there every visit since. We went so far as to schedule our wedding rehearsal dinner at Kauai Ono, and our entire family raved about how incredible the food (and ambiance) of the evening was. It is a magical experience.

I came across a recommendation for this place online. You have to make a reservation and they only operate one or two days a week. It’s a 5 course meal served outdoors in a tent. You are seated at a large communal table and the food and conversation was really good. The dessert was a spiced hot chocolate with a homemade churro to dip. The food is all locally sourced.

Fresh ingredients, creative flavor pairings, and excellent service. They were able to accommodate food sensitivities with notice ahead of time. Highly recommended!

Kauai Ono, an intimate outdoor 5-course meal made with locally sourced, organic ingredients is one of a kind on the island. Each course is delivered and explained, usually detailing the ingredients and flavor characteristics. The meal is not menu based, but dictated by local ingredient availability and the chef's creativity. Well worth experiencing.

Great food, great location. If you are a foodie you have to go. Food some of the I have had on Kauai. It was just me and my friend and we ended up in the middle of a long table. Great company on both sides of the table.
