Princeville Makai Golf Club

The staff was excellent, and the course was beautiful! We braved the rain, but that’s part of Kauai. The pace of the game was a bit stop-and-go, but that was to be expected here. Everyone was out enjoying the day, and we all had a fantastic time.

I paid $30 to clean my own tee pads, use laminated tee signs, and update the UDisc par information on two holes. I believe people rate this course highly mainly because of the views, which would be great; however, I visited on a particularly lazy day where the atmosphere didn't feel very vibrant. Regarding parking, I was initially told it would cost $20, but when I inquired about it, they mentioned that I wouldn't have to pay if I was playing, which was a relief. There’s no dress code, so that's a plus. The course features white tee boxes and is about 2.4 miles long, which I walked in under 90 minutes. After sharing my feedback with Kevin, he assured me that new signs are on the way.

This course offers stunning views and is a joy to play. However, the wind can make it quite challenging, so be sure to consider your tee selections carefully. The food and beverages are reasonably priced, though they are available only in sets. There’s also a gas station nearby for convenience. I would definitely return to play this course again in a heartbeat!

The disc golf course here was a lot of fun and nice. The clubhouse was also very accommodating to get my facility and show me in the right direction. I was surprised to see only another group on the whole course. Maybe disc golf on the island is not very popular.

This course lives up to the Troon name! My wife and I visited the course which was immaculate. Beautiful fairways and immaculate greens! The views were amazing and overall what a great course! My only complaint was speed of play! Did feel a little bit rushed, maybe we just wanted more time to take in the views! Highly recommended!
