The menu is simple, mostly burgers, fries, and chicken fingers. The prices are very reasonable. Our waitress was friendly. The service was very French. I'm not sure if the staff is bilingual, but luckily we knew enough French to place our order. Attached to the restaurant is a small convenience store, known as a depanneur in Quebec, which sells beer, maple products, and cranberry products. Overall, this restaurant is a charming little place hidden away in the countryside. Very quaint and rural.

Luckily, we were able to communicate in French to place our order. The restaurant is connected to a small convenience store, offering beer, maple products, and cranberry products. Overall, this hidden gem in the countryside has a charming rural vibe.
On our way back from Quebec, we stopped at Restaurant Dépanneur Rioux for breakfast. The welcome was as impeccable as the service. The restaurant only has a few tables and stools at a counter, old school style, which is charming. The full breakfast was delicious and served very quickly, with a big smile. We chatted about travel with the cook/waitress and another customer. Overall, it was a much more enjoyable experience than expected. We found the perfect place to eat on Highway 20, between Drummondville and Quebec. Thank you and see you soon!
