Ranchero Mexican - Prineville

Delicious food, excellent prices, and outstanding service. The staff is incredibly friendly.

As I arrived in Prineville, I discovered this restaurant conveniently located right off the highway. After a long day of driving, it seemed like the perfect place to take a break. Just a heads up: most restaurants in the area close by 8 pm, so make sure to arrive earlier. I ordered the carne asada, which was unfortunately overcooked. I understand it was close to closing time, and the food did come out surprisingly quickly. The bartender was attentive, and while the Paloma they served was a bit weak, it was still enjoyable. I wanted to give this place a full 5 stars, but the state of the bathroom made me feel uncomfortable. It's surprising they would let it get to that point, especially considering how busy the restaurant was.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to dine! I'm currently visiting the area for rockhounding and local rock shows, but I live in San Diego. My husband and I stopped by for dinner yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. The food was hot and delicious, and the chips and salsa were great too. It reminded me of our favorite restaurant back home. As for parking, there are spaces available around the building. I'm sure it can get challenging during peak times, but we had no trouble finding a spot during our visit.

The staff is friendly and smiling.The food is awesome and the atmosphere is welcoming. Always a good place to wine and dine.
