La Cuisine D'un Gourmand

Lekker eten maar prijs-kwaliteit een no go. We hadden een bongo bon voor 3 gangen menu en betaalden alsnog 60 euro voor 2 personen. Jammer genoeg gingen we ook met honger naar buiten. De bediening was vriendelijk en de wijn werd voldoende bijgevuld. Voor 160 euro (bon+ drinken) hebben we al veel beter en meer gegeten in andere restaurants!

The restaurant is located in a picturesque setting, right by a stream. The gourmet menu is delicious and reasonably priced.

I hadn't been in this restaurant for 3 years and I returned to him on a meal organized by a group of friends that I had to return to the main dish of the menu in the kitchen, because it was less hot while the waiters recommended that we don't touch the plates that were, it seems, very hot! I admit, however, that the quality of the dish served the wines that were part of the package were pleasant, but proved to be quite capitious, even taken in moderate quantity, I was also surprised by the fact that the additions were given to us ex abrupto before we asked them and I will pass under silence one or the other little reproach that could still be expressed in brief, this meal unfortunately did not reconcile me with this establishment.

Warm welcome in an aerated, very clean and relaxing place (accessible to the handicapped motors, steps in plan inclined in the resto) the back room with view on the garden the meuse and the cliff is superb. wooden tables do not require perfect wedding table with the decor. for our first experience, we chose the menu at 37€ with the wine agreement. a home aperitif and that of the moment both rich in taste and generously served. The mouthpieces are original (hmmm the thai broth) inputs, maline apserges perfect at the same time tender and slightly crunchy, beautiful with the egg at 62°. smoked veal in hay, tuna and veal flavours: sensational. dishes lamb and poultry in a sublime word from any point of view. richly diversified cheese tray, I cracked (gourmandise) and the server knows how to sell its products with humor and poetry. excellent dessert too. small flat, from which the 4 for the sommelier who did not offer a different wine with the cheese (even on supplement.) it is generous to serve, yes, I would even say too generous to say go again a little bit it is not done in such a place. On the other hand, our two main servers do their job with passion and love. dessert and coffee: perfect. We issued our reservation in relation to the sommelier, the house offered us the thumb: beautiful commercial gesture. we recommend and the price is quite justified (quality and quantity of products and bravo for service. )
