Banjos Prospect - PROSPECT VALE

I visited this restaurant a couple of times - once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both experiences were excellent. They have a great variety of pastries and fresh pies.

The beef and mushroom pie was disappointing, with tough gristle and a dry texture. The ham salad sandwich also left much to be desired, tasting like it was straight out of the freezer. The salad was cold and bland, not meeting expectations. Overall, the dishes were not up to par with usual standards.

There is a wide variety of food available at this restaurant, suitable for any time of the day. The coffee was prepared exactly as we requested, extra hot. The staff were also very friendly and pleasant.

The staff and young and friendly. Everything is fresh. They are advertising Tasmanian Scallop curried pies and it was delicious. Best one I have ever eaten. Coffee good. Only complaint would be the tables are not wiped down often enough.

This little store in the shopping centre is only a few minutes away from the Country Club. We have our breakfast here on our stays. There are quite a few toasties to choose from for breakfast. Also cappuccino, latte etc. They are delivered to your table hot and golden. Very good breakfast without feeling bloated. Staff are so friendly in this store.
