The staff was exceptionally friendly, and I asked a few questions that I suspect they get asked frequently. They sell tickets for the MBTA Commuter Rail, but keep in mind that you need cash for that (or you can buy your ticket on the train using a card). However, you can use a credit or debit card to purchase food.
On Monday morning, October 18, 2021, around 9 AM, I stopped by while waiting for my Amtrak train and was hoping to get some coffee. I understand it was busy at the counter, but I was disappointed by the demeanor of the two women servers I interacted with. They were brusque and unfriendly, lacking a smile or any warmth in their service. There wasn't even a simple "thank you," and one of them nearly tossed my two DIY cups at me. Additionally, despite the clear and posted station rules requiring masks, one of the servers had her mask down around her neck and was frequently coughing into her elbow, which was concerning.
This restaurant offers a great healthy food option. The bread and portion sizes are just right. However, I would have preferred the black bean burger patty in the wrap to be more grilled or served on the side, as it got a bit soggy by the time I received it. Nonetheless, it was still delicious.
Finest place to grab something when in a hurry. The service is swift, rates are affordable, great mood. Would recommend to others
Extremely good sandwiches and espresso. Not what I would have expected at the Providence train station. If you arrive early or your train, get a bite here and sip a cappuccino.
