Caserta Pizzeria - Providence

Thier pizza reminds me of home made it is Sicilian style. The only downside is that they don't offer a lot of toppings and options of anything other then pizza, salads and wimpy skimpy. It's just good old style pizza and my wife favorite and she's a pizza snob.

I visited this pizza place yesterday to pick up a pizza for my YouTube food review channel. Unfortunately, I was overcharged by $10. They charged me for a large pizza instead of the small I ordered and also added charges for toppings I didn't even receive. It's disappointing when places try to take advantage of customers, especially since they might not realize that someone could expose their practices online. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. The pizza itself was only about a 3 out of 10 at best.

I heard great things about casserta and walked in one night at 6:40pm. Only to have the women at the counter say they were closed. The door and online both stated they close at 7pm. So i stated that. I didn't know 7pm meant that's when all the staff are supposed to leave and they start the closing procedure sooner? This is what's wrong today, you have a time posted you serve until that time. So I was never able to try their pizza that my husband said was so good. This experience was bad enough I will not be back to try their pizza. We went down the street to eat some amazing Sicilian pizza

The undisputed king of Sicilian pizza. Even though I've moved away from RI, I still go back to the place I remember my Nani (grandmother) taking my as a child.
