I had the Bandeja Salvadoreña as my entrée so I could get a taste of everything. It came with a cut of grilled meat I couldn’t identify, Spanish rice and beans, roasted yuca, and a very simple salad. The deep frying of the plantains brought out their mild sweetness — yum! My favorite treat was the warm fluffy corn tortillas! Price was more than reasonable for the amount of food you get.
I went here the other day and let me say the best wow!! Great good and place is clean and food is fresh
I was there today to pick up two tamales and. Two chicharrón #pupusas . The pupusas were def great . They are small but that’s ok with me. Tamales were good too. The place itself is very humble. Really not much going on . I wish they would keep a window open that you can look into the kitchen that way people are more at ease when they eat there. The restaurant isn’t big. I think maybe 8-10 tables I was little scare about the cleaningness of the kitchen as you pass the bathroom there is very small window that you can look into the kitchen so I did that . THe bathroom was def clean so that gave me a bit more confidence about this place. I wanted to give this place a chance so I did that. I waited about ten to 15mts for my order . I paid cash but it looked like they took credit and debit . Service was very good . If you go here, don’t expect a grandiose restaurant because it isn’t . Hopefully they make a name for themselves and can re-invent the restaurant . But the pupusas were def the best I have had anywhere in Rhode Island .
Very authentic, humble place and nice staff. Answered all my questions about the menu and were pleased to do so! Overall, great place to get some pupusas!
