Barbazul - Providencia

Stopped in for a coffee and a cocktail. They do not have espresso so we just had cocktails and a snack. Everyone was beautiful inside and the techno music was the right volume. There are only about 20 tables. We snagged the second to the last four top table at about 8:15pm. Happy hour lasts until 9pm. The caprioska was about half price during happy hour. It was served in a large glass with lots of ice. We ordered the tablas oceana and the mushroom quesadillas to share. They warned us the tablas would take 30 min. We asked for the quesadillas while we waited. Hands down the best quesadillas I've ever had. The tortilla was crispy and not greasy. The cheese was rich in flavor. The mushrooms inside were like baby portabellos on flavor steroids. Each order had two large folded quesadillas. Two orders were perfect for three people waiting for another dish. The tabls oceana was also delicious. It consisted of three different things, some warm. We returned another time and had Pisco sours traditional and raspberry. My favorite was the traditional Pisco sour. The cosmo was made with syrup and not juice so avoid it. Service was very good.
