The food menu is short but there are several vegan and vegetarian selections. The PBC House Plate — garlic hummus guacamole w/ pita and tortilla chips — was good. Outdoor seating is at picnic tables. You order inside at the bar and the server brings it to you wherever you end up sitting. The P-town crowd eating there with you is fun to watch.

I had a delicious vegan black bean burger with fries at this restaurant. You can also add avocado to the burger, which is highly recommended. We also tried the artichoke cakes, which were amazing - similar to crab cakes but even better. The beer selection was also great.

The artichoke cakes are vegan, but the aioli that comes with them is not. Instead, our bartender offered us a side of mayo pesto made with veganaise. The artichoke heart cakes were crunchy and tasty, making them a delightful treat. They are the perfect snack to enjoy with a cold beer. At $12, they may be a bit pricey, but worth it for the delicious taste.

The staff was very knowledgeable about the ingredients in the dishes and were able to confirm which items were vegan-friendly.

I really like this place. The beer is good quality. You won't get too drunk here, but you'll definitely have a great time.
