We've walked by 9 Ryder for years without really noticing it was there. Someone mentioned enjoying their food a while back and we were able to get a last minute reservation Sunday. The building itself is pretty dumpy but it's over the water which of course is a huge pull for some. You're there for the food though, and the food did indeed turn to be quite amazing. I had cod on fresh vegetables which was some of the best fish I've had. My friends were equally impressed with their pasta dishes. Awesome waiter Billy made great suggestions and was so pleasant at the end of a long night's shift. Highly recommend for great Ptown dining!

This is a fantastic location. The docks are spacious and well-maintained, and the staff is generally friendly. While the prices are on the higher side, that's to be expected. My only critique is that, considering the cost of docking my boat there, I feel the dockmaster's office should offer assistance with restaurant recommendations and possibly even reservations, as well as information about transportation options. They should be knowledgeable about local bike paths and how to access them. There's no reason that office shouldn't establish connections with all the top restaurants in the area, similar to what you would find at a hotel or inn. Just some feedback to consider.
