Waydowntown - PROVINCETOWN

James is an amazing, well-informed, and attentive server. The food was delicious, and the drinks were potent! I am looking forward to going back again.

We ordered clam chowder and calamari at this restaurant. The clam chowder tasted like it came from a can and the crackers were stale. The calamari was discolored and chewy. When I made eye contact with the waitress, she began walking towards us but then abruptly turned around and left. I approached her table where she was sitting with the owner, who was extremely rude and told me to go eat next door instead. The service and food quality were both terrible.

The lobster rolls at this restaurant were the worst I have ever eaten. We ordered four lobster rolls and spent over $100, but they were tiny, dry, and the meat was of low quality. It is disappointing that they would serve such subpar food in a place as competitive as Provincetown. The prices were high for the poor quality we received.

The view from the deck is breathtaking! We ordered the taste of P-town which included a mini lobster roll, a mini fish and chips and a cup of clam chowder. The food was excellent! The fish was probably the best I have had in a restaurant. It was crispyoutside and moist inside. The clam chowder was thick and creamy and loaded with clams. The lobster roll was served on a briochebun and was mixed lightly with mayo. What a great idea! A little bit of everything. I really enjoyed this meal and the view!

Nice patio on the back of the restaurant. Haddock fish and chips was pretty good. Waitress brought small cups with water and we had to ask to refill them all the time. It was hot day. Restaurant was not clean and bathroom was awful. Overall food was ok but I will look for something else next
