Teavana - Proviso Township

The bistro gets better every time we go. It's wonderful having a fine dining establishment in Woodbridge!

My favorite place to stop by when visiting the mall. The aromas of hot tea are mind blowing and the walk by samples really hit the spot. I have become a tea drinker of the years and although pricey teavana never fails to deliver. I highly recommend the mateveana and oolong. Be on the lookout during holiday season you may get a nice deal on a starter kit!

So its freezing on a Monday night and most insistent employee outside has me try tea outside then inside. After 4 teas I think, sure I'll buy some tea. She then shows me two tins, one $6, the other was around double. When I ask if I can just have a bag she balks and says the tea will not stay fresh in a bag. When I see the prices of the tea I am obviously displeased, and what seemed like a good idea on a cold night has now set me back quite a bit. When I agree to 4oz (at $20, not counting the $6 tin I really don't want), the employee is clearly disappointed in the amount I am purchasing. I point this out to her and she is offended. So I leave with my $29 purchase and a tin I din't want. Can this employee afford a $29 purchase of tea? I think not. Will never return and will never sample tea again.
