Hokulia Shave Ice - Provo

Hands down the best shave ice. Lots of good flavors and options for ice cream and sno cap. The wait was a bit outrageous, even though there were only 6 people ahead of me when I got there.

Super cute and pretty fast service! The shaved ice is really soft and not crunchy at all. It just melts in your mouth and it has a huge variety of flavors.

There are a lot of little snow cone shops here in Utah. Not so many that I consider legitimate shaved ice like the refreshing treat I fell in love with in Hawaii. HOKULIA SHAVE ICE is the real thing. Literally shaved from a block of ice using a sharp blade which creates an Ice that is more coarse and more substantial than the snow that others offer. They have 50 different flavors that you can choose from as toppings with 1000 's of combinations. I ordered the smaller cup and it was a lot to eat. Such a tasty way to experience brain freeze. I enjoyed every bite and recommend without reservation.
