At first, I hesitated, then decided to have an ostrich steak. What an amazing choice. Delicious!

Let me tell you, when you find yourself hungry in a little city such as Puchov, there are things you expect and things you secretly hope for. This restaurant has exceeded both. Sure, it is not running for a Michelin star. But these guys simply know how to cook and the meal was really savory. They also offer Bryndza soup which is quite rare these days so make sure to give it a try. I wish I took some pictures of the meal I had but I was just too hungry. So here's a fun fact instead: in 2003 local team Matador Puchov has played a 1:1 UEFA Cup match against FC Barcelona. Yes, that Barcelona
