Villa Helena - Puducherry

AI was very disappointed . The cheesecake wasn't really cheesecake! Lol It was just sour mush. I have had some amazing food experience in white town but sadly cafe Helena didn't live up to my expectations. Is being hospitable to your customers a lot to ask?! They were rude and didn't replace the stale cheesecake. Paying those extra 100 bucks wouldn't matter much but they losing on customers who take food business very seriously and encourage food lovers to try out the best places and have an amazing experience ! Sadly wouldn't step here again! Thank you but no thank you !

They seem to deliberately have a limited menu. I prefer restaurants which have your items made with utmost expertise. The food, as a result, was well above average. Their deserts namely chocolate fondant and a New York cheesecake were delicious. The main seller in Villa Helena is the experience. The staff are always around and willing to make everything accessible. Even in my case, all requests were taken care of. The other half of the experience is the ambience. Gorgeous, just gorgeous. Very well spaced. It resembles the lovely European architecture that you'd find in tiny restaurants in Spain and France. I'd recommend going here especially if you're planning on going to the Boys next door ( Rendezvous) because you can quite expect a rejection right at their doorstep.

A low crowded quite place with beautiful architecture and delicious desserts , I could move around and take whatever photos I wanted inside their rooms or of their architecture. The beef was delicious I expected better sides rather than potato wedges. Drinks were made very well. Service was fast.

Loved the Ambience- Open to air Bar/ reasonable prices. You find a lot of foreigners here. The staff were good. We were here for drinks, no clue about the food though. Haven't tried nothing

In Helena, you should definitely order the beef fillet. It is there "go to" dish for sure. Great ambience. And of course the cheesecake is the cherry on top :)
