La Huerta - Puebla de Alcocer

We were travelling in this area recently and had hoped to dine at the restaurant by the castle but it was closed so we found this place and were delighted we did! The menu del dia was very good value and the quality of the food was excellent. The desert in particular was YUM!

A good place to eat with family or friends. The service is quite fast and above all very friendly. I am not giving them 5 stars because the paella was not what was expected (I suppose that being from the Mediterranean we have very high standards), however the pork tenderloin with garlic was sublime. Also the delicious desserts and they are also homemade. It is well conditioned to withstand these heats and has some terraces outside, which, I suppose that with the cool weather, it must be divine. Fui con mi padre, por primera vez en su cumpleaños, porque lo recomendaron. Comimos del menú, platos abundantes, todo hecho en casa y económico. un éxito total, recomendado y definitivamente repetiremos.
