This really is somewhere special to go for a meal. The location is stunning at this time of the year with Sagra covered in snow. From the moment you enter the restaurant you know it is a cut above the rest. The tables are large giving plenty of room to place food and drinks and they are well spaced not on top of each other. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes and made you aware of the local specialities. The problem was choosing a meal from the menu as it all was outstanding. Pickled Partridge and Sweet onion soup to start, followed by the local leg of lamb for two. To complete the meal we had upside down cheesecake and strawberry with rice foam, all beautifully presented. Total price including a bottle of wine, coffee and water €100. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
We arrived at this restaurant on Wednesday 7th October at 9pm to find that it was closed with no explanation as to why. We would suggest that people phone the hotel first to see if the restaurant is open
