Los Tres Inc - Pueblo

Los Tres is a hidden gem in Pueblo and a beloved institution at the Pueblo Mall. I have been dining here for 25 years. I highly recommend the Chicken Tacos on white, deep fried, with salsa. They are even great for takeout. I give them a big thumbs up!

Yesterday, I only had chips and salsa at this restaurant during my lunch break. Unfortunately, I have been ill with food poisoning since then. It seems that the salsa at this place is not refrigerated properly and is contaminated with bacteria.

I ordered a chicken salad with chips. Unfortunately, the chips were stale and the guacamole in the salad was too salty. I raised this issue to the male staff member working and he took the food from me without addressing the problem before walking away.

Ok seriously these people have no idea what Mexican food is supposed to be. Way overpriced. They ask 13 dollars for nachos with barely any thing on them I would never recommend them. The horchata was weak and definitely not homemade. Avoid at all costs. Taco bell as bad as they are is just around the corner.

I’ve been eating lunch here two or three times a week for the past seven or eight months because the food is good and fast. Not once during that time has the place been more than half full between noon and 1:00 PM. Today was no different when I stopped in, grabbed a menu and sat down at a booth. What was different was a waiter, who I have never seen before comes up to my table and says the booth I’m in is for parties of two or more. When I didn’t move he proceeds to stand there and glare at me like I just shot his dog. So I got up and put the menu back and said I’ll be dining elsewhere. I don’t know who this tool was but I won’t be back. I’m sure the $250 a month I spend there won’t break them but from reading the reviews, I’m not the only one whose had a bad experience with this guy and those will add up.
