These are the most expensive empanadas we have seen in Argentina, but were really uneatable, just look for yourself. When we asked the waiter, he told us that they are normal and they are fully charged as in their menu. It was really a Pitty, because the place is really beautiful and elephant seals spectacular...
Amazing family restaurant on the peninsula Valdes. We stayed here on a tour with Argentina Vision. We both ordered the Patagonian stew (Limb, Speck, Carrot... who came with rice and was delicious! We didn't need the side of the Papas fritas, but they were good too!
Great food and service, note huge shares. Veggie soup was great. Short ribs were absolutely delicious, but we regretted not to share the portions.
Easy. Average costs. Sheep stew is great. Don't expect what you can't get in a simple restaurant. And there is no other possibility one hour away.
We were staying in Puerto Piramides and decided to do a day trip around Peninsula Valdes. 70 kilometers along a (good) gravel road you arrive at Punta Delgada, home to a colony of Elephant Seal (and a functioning lighthouse). It turned out that there is also a hotel and a restaurant, which has a number of day visitors (at least in January when we were there. We ordered shrimps with a spicy sauce and got probably the most delicious portion of jumbo shrimps we have ever had. Cooked to perfection (the fact that my last two became overcooked because i was too slow to eat the big portion cannot be blamed on the cook). The other meals we saw (mainly lamb) also looked mouthwatering and we were seriously contemplating to take a drive the following day to have lunch again here. Staff was friendly and serving was exemplary even though a van load of customers arrived at the same time as us. It is in a far corner of the world, but if you are around Peninsula Valdes, I would not miss it
