Las Rocas Steakhouse - Puerto Plata

Had large fillet mignon and potato soup with bacon. Very friendly

We spent a wonderful dinner with friends in Las Rocas one of the top restaurants in the area. Chef klaus has upgraded the restaurant with black tablecloths and covered chairs. A candle was lit and we have a wonderful meal 4 of us had packed the fillet mignon in bacon with a selection of mash, baked, frits or German potatoes. We got our steak, cooked for perfection as ordered. Escargots to start amazing and tasty. Scrumptious cheesecake, inexpensive and highly recommended.

Had a wonderful surprise when I came by here; the place is lovely and the menu was great, but the real surprise was the so called Peppersteak Parisienne , which turned out to be a VERY respectable Steak au Poivre, cooked from a filet and done perfectly medium rare as ordered. Everything was done well... I will be back!

Valentine's Day Feb 14 2019 Master Chef Klaus from Germany and his team offered excellent tantalizing n to our reserved table of 6 adults: opens at 17 o'clock, reservations preferred, charming modern decor with tropical flair and comfortable chair seating, Las Rocas has a diverse menu for all tastes such as Oxtail Soup, Creamed Broccoli Soup w Almonds, prepared file exactly grilled Mcon Wrapped $55 FOR 2 persons Total value Food in a relaxed romantic environment, allow time with good table conversation, as quality food requires detail and time so enjoy an evening of approx. 2 hours for dinner and why not?? You are without a hurry, you are so easy to breathe on holiday and relax with your dining room partner!

Las Rocas has no equal here. Lovely restaurant with superior decor. Chef Klaus came out and spoke to us after we were served very nice touch. I had the fillet mignon and added mushrooms that came as a sauce he does, it was one of the best steaks I had and that. Mushroom sauce was amazing, just a few more dollars. My wife had the same thing to say about her steak with pepper sauce. We did this with his chocolate mousse, who was idolly! I had no better chocolate mousse, it was cold with different degrees of melted and the rich dark chocolate flavors that melt over your tongue was an incredibly delicious feeling. We'll go back before we go. All about this restaurant was very good and we highly recommend to go! Thank you. Klaus for such a taste contract for us!
