Ahora, la comida es muy rica, fui por su sopa de mariscos la cual está deliciosa. Nos dieron una tostada de ceviche de cortesía. Vimos los platillos que sirvieron en mesas continuas y son porciones muy generosas.
Sadly I went today, Sunday Sept 24 at 4:15 pm and the restaurant was closed, completely locked up. The outdoor dining from what I could see through the fence was a beautiful park-like setting in the trees.
Tranquil place with excellent, well priced food and great service.
This is by far the best seafood soup in the hot bowl we had in Puerto Vallarta! The restaurant is located on a quiet street and has the appearance of a garden. The owners are also very nice! This restaurant is a must if... You want a hot bowl of Marisco soup!
You never find the place much less know that it is even there. It was ‘word-of-mouth’ that led me there. It was described as similar to the food in the backyard of a person, and that was quite accurate, except it is a bit more organized. Close... I can say that his operation is dependent on two very busy people. However, our seven tables received all foods at the same time. Orders were made from a varied menu with some unusual options. The prices were friendly and if it were closer to my accommodation, I would go more often. Nevertheless, Las Islas has always appeared as a dining option. Unless you are near Costco or Pitillal Walmart, take a taxi to get there. Show the driver the address and you are set.
