This bar on the corner of San Salvador and Belice is a local favorite for Mexicans and expat Americans and Canadians who live in Colonia 5 de Diciembre. They have an excellent liquor selection and the beer is kept cold. The bar staff is friendly and bilingual when Anna is bartending. Corona bottled beer always kept cold. The staff is always ready to grab you another bottle or bucket of beer so you can keep playing cards, dancing or playing pool! If winning money is your goal then you have numerous gambling machines to choose from in the casino area next door. Snacks are sold including caramel corn, sobritas and non-alcoholic drinks: Powerade, Fanta, Sprite, Coke. Over a dozen video gambling machines with a catalog of game options can be enjoyed for either pesos or centavos. Also 4 'pinball ' type machines can be played for either 10 pesos or 5 pesos and winnings paid out immediately upon request. The casino is open 24 hours and has a staff person always there to make change, sell beer, sell snacks, and pay out winnings to those who have the luck or skills to win! Smoking is permitted inside and if you run out of cigarettes you can purchase more from the staff desk! It 's a great place to check out anytime day or night and after last call at other bars. I encourage anyone seeking a bit of the less touristy atmosphere to stop by, but stay mindful of your surroundings and your things because like anywhere you go there may be people who seek to take advantage of the overly trusting or nieve people who get too drunk or put themselves out there as easy targets for thieves. If you go in alone, but don 't want to go home alone there are often ladies who would happily provide you with company if you just ask for some because there is no shortage of people willing to make your acquaintance!

I like the music from the jukebox on Sunday mornings for dancing. Good price on shots of Jagermeister and buckets of beer. It is an atmosphere where you do need to watch your things and I always pay for my drinks as I get them so I don 't chance over paying as I keep drinking. Owner is very nice and often in the bar to make sure the customers feel comfortable playing cards, dancing, or playing pool. It isn 't the typical tourist spot for sure. Go experience a bar the locals enjoy and get out of the usual Instagram pretty places that the 'snowbirds ' flock to for karaoke.

... Es ideal para echar chelas si quieres seguir la fiesta y no hay otro lugar... Tiene mesa de billar y rockola... El lugar tiene buenos precios (250 cubeta de 10 chelas de 1/2 abril 2021)... Pero tiene una mala ventilación...

Es un bar de after. No habré durante la noche, abre durante la madrugada. De mala muerte, si. Pero no es un mal bar. Es un buen lugar para la gente que gusta de cantinas after.
