I went to this restaurant out of necessity because it was the only one open at the time, without expecting much. To my surprise, it ended up being a great choice and I returned another day. The items that stood out to me were the avocado street toast, the daily changing fruit ceviche, and the French toast.

Very kind service and delicious food! Also it was lovely arranged on the plate! Perfect for breakfast, lunch or just something to drink. Very recommandable!

We had high expectations for Tosdas based on the reviews on TripAdvisor, hoping to enjoy a healthy lunch before heading back to Punta Uva beach. However, our experience was not quite what we had hoped for. We overheard some conversations from the table next to us, discussing topics such as the digital age and Mark Zuckerberg's involvement in US elections. The real challenge came when we had to wait almost 2 hours for our vegan burger and salad to be prepared. While Costa Rica is known for its laid-back vibe, the slow pace at Tosdas was a bit extreme. It took three kitchen staff members to open a bottle of ketchup, which was quite a sight to see. We were told that the long wait was due to everything being made fresh and organic, but the food itself was just average. Perhaps our opinion was influenced by the long wait, but some may still enjoy the flavors. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to make it back to the beach. If you have the patience for a lengthy wait and enjoy organic meals, Tosdas may be the place for you.

Amazing little soda in the street, with fresh and organic food. The smoothies are really tasty and the food was wonderful! Highly recommend it!
