The staff is welcoming, warm and happy to show you around the farm and talk you through their preparations and their recipes. If you love genuine products and traditional food you are going to love your time there! We were greeted with a glass of a fruity and crisp Sardinian white wine and the starters included some excellent home made salami that my wife who is particularly picky about that) couldn 't praise more ! Different cheeses and grilled vegetables all very tasty. Then we had two typical types of pasta with delicious meat sauces and then the star of the night, which was the porceddu which is a piglet slow cooked on the charcoal so that you can feel the crispness of the skin, the creamy fat and the moist meat.... all flavoured with Mediterranean spices including the Sardinian mirto. For dessert we had the typical sebadas and a tasteful almond cake !! The wine served was from the house and we emptied the bottle!! All in all a gorgeous dinner at a very honest price in a lovely open air place with nice people !!!! I strongly recommend a visit there !!! To be kept in mind that the menu is fixed and if you are vegetarian you might miss most of the delights they can offer !
I celebrated my 30th birthday at this beautiful and special occasion. we were 7 people and 5 of us had a full vegetarian menue. We experienced a very warm and kind welcome, excellent food and wine and they even made (by pre-order) an amazing birthday cake. I will remember this evening for the rest of my life. thanks to the family of sa prantaxia for making this such a special and delicious evening. would highly recommend visiting!
We thought we’d give this restaurant a try. Thank goodness we did. It was truly a wonderful experience. A family run agri tourism, who cook and serve the set meal themselves. My daughters are vegetarian and they provided a totally vegetarian meal which was delicious impressive! We sat outside in a beautiful setting with twinkly lights and the food kept coming, and it was fantastic. There was such a nice atmosphere– it felt like being invited into somebody’s home. Lovely people, lovely setting, wonderful food and a special evening. To ring and book and try it out for yourselves!! Connie
We had dinner in this beautiful farm after visiting the archaeological park of Nora. The family atmosphere of the place, combined with the welcome, kindness and friendliness of the owners, made this dinner an unforgettable experience. The farm offers a fixed menu consisting of traditional dishes, serving high quality products. In every dish, from appetizers to dessert, one perceives the deep love of the owners for their territory. Dining here was the best way to discover this wonderful land. Experience not to be missed.
A great dinner in this farm. The place is very welcoming, with tables set up in a nice lawn, a terrace with arches and turntable on sight where cooks the piglet. All dishes, from appetizers to dessert, were delicious. Even those who have gluten intolerance could eat everything, including ravioli and excellent malloreddus. Friendly and friendly staff. Very recommended.
