They were very busy, but that didn't mater staff were alert and helpful. The food and drink was good and ample. Very satisfying!
Nice location in the town square of Pula. It was very busy on the Saturday lunchtime when we visited, but we were seated promptly and service was overall very good despite the crowds. Food was quite expensive and also a cover charge of 2.50 each seems a bit steep. There was a good selection, and the pizzas were probably the most reasonably priced items. Everything else was much more than we had seen elsewhere in our visit to Sardinia. We decided to split a salad and calzone. This was a good idea as they were both very large and was plenty enough for a nice lunch. Food good, and location great, but prices high.
Very good pizza. Very good appetizers. Had large sushi menu as well. Make reservations. I watched the host turn away hundreds of people even though there were many empty tables. Only bad thing was the heat. They took away the only outdoor fan when people started arriving. Told us indoors was at capacity which was fine because the pizza oven was in there creating more heat. Overall we enjoyed our meal and it was centrally located in the piazza. Pro tip. Make sure you bring change for the parking meter (blue lines mean you pay). Meter maids were out at 9:30pm.
We (2 people) stopped for a soda around 11,30 am and sat at an empty table for four. Our waitress grumbled that we should have taken a table for two and split our table apart. I counted 180 empty chairs while we drank our drinks then gave up counting. Very strange thinking.
We ended up eating here 3 out of our 4 days in Pula. We enjoyed the excellent homemade pasta and the variety of pizza options. Lively outdoor cafe right in the main square.
