Chiringuito Costa Tranquila - Pulpí

This lovely secluded spot in San Juan is one of my favourite places to come relax on a nice hot day. The views are lovely and the staff are very friendly, I am unable to comment on the food but it does look and smell great. I usually just sit with my family with a Coca Cola and enjoy the sea.

The location of this place is absolutely perfect, the view is breathtaking, yes it 's a little rustic in places, but that adds to its authenticity. We were delighted to find it on our walk. What was such a shame is the rudeness of the staff who totally ignored us, looked us up and down, then carried on chatting and sharing info on their phone. We sat for a good period of time patiently waiting to be served, but unusually even the locals seemed unfriendly here, as though you were not welcome as their bar Not had this feeling in San Juan before. We got up and left, the staff just watched us leave.....

Un bonito y pequeño lugar justo en la playa, en una pequeña cala alejada de la principal zona turística. Un tipo de bar/playa bastante típico con suficientes mesas interiores y exteriores con sombra. El servicio es muy amigable. Ambos tomamos una botella de cerveza, aceitunas, ensalada mixta y filetes de lomo de cerdo a la parrilla con patatas fritas. Buena calidad, 35€ en total. Volveremos a visitarlo mientras estemos aquí y probablemente optemos por las sardinas a la parrilla y los calamares o el pulpo (que tenían muy buena pinta). Hay paella disponible, pero hay que pedirla con antelación, lo que suele ser una buena señal. Hay mucho aparcamiento disponible allí. Tienes que escanear un código QR para ver el menú (que está solo en español): no hagas lo que hice yo, que es tocar el botón INICIO, grande y prominente, porque eso te activa para registrarte en una cuenta para algo. u otro (probablemente vendí mis riñones en línea y no me di cuenta). Un menú escrito simple con traducciones sería más fácil, especialmente porque aún tienes que pedir al camarero en lugar de hacerlo a través de una aplicación.
