Feedback geven..fabulous!! what a great little 'hole in the wall ' type of place, but what an impressive menu and super tasting just-rightly-spiced freshly prepared food. just wonderful! plus..the prices are so reasonable and attractive. and the service super casual and ultra-friendly.
Thai Chicken Golgappa definitely recommended. Chicken burrito bowl, prepared to perfection each ingredient had its taste but beautifully blended into one dish. Waffles by Rachita just the way I like it, not sure which one she ordered : Can't wait to check out other items on their menu. Suggestions: I wish it would open early morning on weekends!!
A pretty small yet comfortable place amidst all the hustle bustle in Koregaon Park, Street Meat is the place to go for a chilled out meal with family and friends. Places like these need to be promoted wholeheartedly for the love of simple, easy on the pocket and ridiculously delicious food. We were served some really amazing stuff yesterday. Thai Chicken Golgapaas. Very innovative 'Do Your Own ' dish to the start off the meet with. Crisp crunchy pani pooris served with yummy Thai Chicken Curry and tamarind ginger garlic chutney with sweet chilly sauce. Super hit dish with everyone, you just can 't stop eating kinds. A must try very highly recommended. Pork Belly Pita Wrap. The undisputed winner with absolutely no doubt. Slow cooked pulled pork which was then fried, caramelized onions in an amazing flavorful sauce served in soft fresh pita wraps. Pork lovers this is one 'not to miss ' wrap at Street Meat. I wouldn 't mind traveling 15 km just for this. We had an option to try Crispy Fish Taco with Wasabi Mayo and Balsamic Oyster Shroom Taco. Almost everyone went with the crispy fish taco. The fish taco turned out pretty well for me, crisp tempura batter fried fish with fresh in-house made taco with slight hints of wasabi mayo, tastes best with a dash of lemon. Cajun Chicken Pita Wrap with Feta. After the pork belly wrap this really did not have a chance. I did try this again after a round of palate cleansing and found the chicken wrap to be pretty decent. Korean Sesame Chicken Wings were also served. These were served with choice of two dips. Worked well for me. Chicken was well cooked and the sesame seed coat added a nice crunch and flavor to the chicken. French fries with Parmesan cheese and truffle oil. Beautiful presentation of a classic and 'Never Say No ' finger food. Waffles. Fresh crisp waffles served half and half. One half blueberry compote, chocolate sauce, with scoop of vanilla ice cream and small pieces of cheesecake. The other half was caramelized banana with Nutella. One of the best waffles in town and must have at Street Meat. Personally speaking I would have loved it if the banana was a little more caramelized. Overall a wonderful experience.
A small place, neatly run by Chef Nikhilesh. We look at the menu and are straight away drawn to the Porky delights on the menu. We ordered Crispy Korean sticky BBQ sauce Chicken Wings, Pork Belly Pita and Pulled Pork in Brun Pao. The sweet small fellow who took our order came back to inform us that, the days special is Thai Curry Golgappas and there's a Rs. 40 discount on it.... now the sound of Thai curry in a pani puri... that put me off... but he kinda convinced us to go for it, so we said what the hell let's take that too. The Golgappas were served with a sweet chilly sauce, a sweet sauce and a Thai chicken curry, which was amazing by itself with the right flavor of coconut milk and spice .... adding a slight zing. I luvvvvvved the twist to the normal pani puri... But this fusion did not work for my wifey. She said it's ok ok. Next came the Chicken wings, crispy sticky, with sesame seeds sprinkled and barbecued to perfection. Served with aioli. Just as we were finishing this the person walks up with a small plate of Patatas Bravas...Saying this is a new dish and would like us to taste it... Now I have never eaten this before and this was vegan!!! But we felt bad to refuse and voila, this was good and very different. It had cubes of double fried potatoes, Arbi and pink potatoes, tomatoes and onions... Had a nice tangy crunchy, cheesy taste. Nice!!! And then came the star of the meal... the show stoppers... Pulled Pork in Brun Pao and Pork belly in Pita.... In one word Wowwwwww!!! I was sceptical about the Brun as I don't normally like to eat a Brun as a sandwich... Especially the pune Bruns are huge... But this was a nice crispy warm not so hard brun, just big enough to bite into, inspite of the ample filling of pulled pork... Yummmmmmy The Pork belly Pita was also heavily loaded and was actually heavy to hold... Verrrrry Purrrrfectly sautéed meat tossed in their own sauce... Thoroughly enjoyyyyed the meal
Don't think at all ... Simply get here and eat No one will regret it .. Good food , good experience, good ambience and smiling face serving ... So totally worth it ..
