Ihop - Punta Gorda

I am allergic to wheat and they made my omelet without adding the pancake batter that they add to their scrambled eggs and omelets. Service and food were both outstanding. I forgot my box of leftovers and she saved it for me.

Our experience at this restaurant was not good. We arrived at 10 am and waited 10 minutes to be seated, as a party of two. After giving our simple order to the waitress, we waited for FIFTY minutes with no sign of our food or waitress. When we asked another waitress about our order, we saw our original waitress cooking with the cook and discussing the missing order. Despite the real cook apologizing for the mistake, the waitress/cook did not. We have eaten breakfast here many times before and have always been pleased, but this time we left hungry and disappointed and will not be returning. It's time to try out Waffle House instead.

I recently went to this restaurant for breakfast and was disappointed to find that the waitress was visibly intoxicated. She asked me what I wanted to order multiple times, even though she had already taken my order. Additionally, when she brought out my food, she had forgotten a portion of it. It was clear that she had been drinking, as I could smell alcohol on her breath. While the food was prepared correctly, her level of intoxication made for a poor dining experience. I believe that if the management cannot address this issue, I will not be returning to this establishment.

This restaurant experience was absolutely horrible. The waitress forgot most of our order, including my drink which I didn't receive until the end of my meal. She also forgot our sides and left us alone in the restaurant to go smoke with the cook, even though we were the only customers there. When we were finished with our meals, we were left sitting there with no check. When I went outside to signal that we were ready to pay, she threatened to call the police. The service was terrible and we did not receive a receipt. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone - go anywhere else.

What a surprise! The minute we walked in we were greeted by everyone, and they were very busy, but were seated in minutes! Our server was Betty who made sure to give us time as the menu was new to us...so much to choose ????! I noticed even tho the staff were all so busy, they were friendly and helpful. Seem to be some locals there and they remembered their usual orders! Betty was great and our food was served hot and delicious! This I Hop is out of our way, but so worthgoing back to! Thank you to the staff and cooks for such a pleasure full time!
