Boca Barranca - Puntarenas

My favorite in this area. First rate care from the owners and family. Good not great rooms but clean with a big sliding door/window and easy walking to one of the best surf breaks in the Americas for long rides.

Diego and Kattia are very welcoming. The rooms are simple but kept clean. If you surf this is a good location also there is near by paragliding spot for those who are into the sport or those who just want to get a ride.

Spacious rooms and is next to the sea. The bad thing is, there's nothing around but you can ask and they'll take you food from a nearby place. The lady of the hotel very friendly

Great place to stay surfing. Near the beach, parking. Good price. Air conditioning. The whole staff was friendly and polite. I'm back.

The best hotel in Boca Baranca for surfing and just chill. Kattia is a fantastic hostess and the heart of this whole area. The rooms are simple, but everything is there, 2 double beds, cold A/C, warm shower and cable TV. Internet is available. So is breakfast and morning coffee. It's on a busy street. Expect the sound. Earplugs do the trick. Will come back again and again, although the lineup can be extremely busy for surfing at sunrise.
